Preview : Sony Xperia Z2

Sony unveiled their latest offerings at MWC 2014 in Sony Xperia Z2. The phone looks quite similar to the Xperia Z1 which means its quite a looker but boasts bigger 5.2″ Triluminous screen of IPS LCD variety. The screen resolution is still the same ie 1080p which means no QHD resolution this time.
The camera on the back is the same unit as on the Z1 at 20.7 megapixels but it is capable of recording 4K video capture @30fps and slow-motion videos @120fps.
The Xperia Z2 runs on Android 4.4.2 and uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 chipset which is a little improvement over the already fast Snapdragon 800 chipset.
The previous Xperia flagships are know for weak speakers, but Xperia Z2 comes with stereo speakers which should perform better.
The Sony Xperia Z2 comes with 16GB of built-in storage and a microSD
card slot. The slots and ports are covered by flaps to prevent water
damage which makes the device dust and water resistant.
I’ll be out with a full review later.
